About Us

Hidden Gardens was established in 2020 to grow an extensive array of natural produce using traditional techniques and minimizing external inputs

Our Southern California weather provides some of the best conditions in the world to grow an extensive array of fruits and vegetables, from traditional avocados and oranges to more exotic plants like jujubes and lucumas.
As part of this project, we seek to revitalize and enrich our soils with organic matter (compost) and grow our produce without using any chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
In addition to growing produce we seek harmonize with nature. To this end we grow trees that provide shade from our hot summers and protection from our windy season. We grow an array of flowers to attract pollinators and create habitats for our local fauna.
Our goal is to improve the land and make it more productive for both humans and nature alike.
